Southern New Hampshire University’s ITS Knowledge Enablement team is currently seeking a Knowledge Enablement Assistant. This opportunity is a remote position working with the ITS Knowledge Enablement team to assist in working their New Knowledge Request and Knowledge Enhancement queues. We are seeking a detail oriented and self-sufficient student who is responsible and can communicate well through Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
This position will provide students with technical writing skills, time management skills, experience in ServiceNow, experience in a service environment and experience building relationships with existing SNHU ITS professionals. This position will be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at an ITS department and specifically interested in working with SNHU ITS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle requests for new knowledge articles and enhancement requests for existing knowledge articles in ServiceNow.
- Develop and write new knowledge articles based on information provided in New Knowledge article requests in ServiceNow.
- Update existing knowledge articles using information from Knowledge Enhancement requests or through routine article maintenance in ServiceNow.
- Communicate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from other teams to verify information provided in new knowledge requests or knowledge enhancement requests using platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Microsoft Outlook.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment in classes as part of an SNHU degree program.
- Access to a personal computer.
- Access to the Internet.
- Access to Microsoft Teams.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
