The opportunity
Job Summary:
Southern New Hampshire University’s traditional campus is currently seeking a student broadcast technician to support the varsity Esports program. The Esports Broadcast Technician is responsible for streaming and broadcasting all matches for the SNHU Esports program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Real-time operation of the SNHU Esports broadcasts to Twitch and/or Youtube.
- Preparation for upcoming matches.
- Development and production of scenes and composition for all SNHU Esports streams and videos.
- Participation as a member of the SNHU Esports content team.
- Development of new videos to utilize in stream transitions and overlays.
- Review of video content and streaming in national collegiate esports.
- Setup and breakdown of streaming setups for events
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SNHU
- Work-Study as part of the financial aid package
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Respectfulness and exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of technology utilized in esports productions (Open Broadcaster Software,, Vmix, Twitch, YouTube)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with collegiate esports
- Knowledge of audio/lighting technologies
Work Hours:
Flexible shift hours between 10:00am-10:00pm

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
