This position plays a crucial role in representing the university to prospective students, their families, and other visitors. In this role, you will be a business and expert who guides the design, implementation, and governance of AI-powered solutions across the university's digital ecosystem. You will align AI capabilities with institutional strategy, technology roadmaps, and business priorities. You'll serve as a trusted advisor and technical lead on AI use cases ranging from intelligent agents to workflow automation. You will guide the business throughout the onboarding and implementation of our multiple AI solutions. You'll guide through the discovery, design, and hands-on configuration of AI-powered features, ensuring that the maximum value from AI capabilities supports outcomes.</p><p>You will also bridge the gap between Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams, helping define how AI transforms collaboration at scale—across the SNHU's broader tech ecosystem.</p><p>The AI Architect will orchestrate collaboration across business, data, application, and technology domains, using platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, D2L, Banner, and O365. You will balance innovation with compliance, ensuring solutions are secure, ethical, and scalable, while delivering measurable business and student outcomes.</p><p>You will work remotely from any of our approved states. #LI-Remote</p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with business and technology partners to identify AI opportunities that support student success, operational efficiency, and digital business models.</li><li>Align AI programs with enterprise strategies, roadmaps, and higher education best practices.</li><li>Provide guidance on how AI, ML, and automation will improve current and future-state architectures.</li><li>Define, design, and oversee AI architectures that integrate with core enterprise platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, D2L, Banner, O365).</li><li>Collaborate with business architects, data architects, and developers to source, govern, and manage data for AI solutions.</li><li>Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI/ML models, frameworks, and platforms.</li><li>Ensure architectures account for privacy, compliance (FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR), and security standards.</li><li>Establish MLOps practices, including CI/CD for AI models, automated testing, validation, and deployment.</li><li>Embed MCP (Model Control & Performance) practices: lifecycle management, retraining, drift detection, and decommissioning.</li><li>Oversee deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI solutions.</li><li>Contribute to enterprise AI governance frameworks, standards, and policies.</li><li>Establish metrics and monitoring approaches to track AI model performance, bias, and risk.</li><li>Implement adversarial AI defense and secure AI infrastructure (encryption-in-use, multi-tenant isolation).</li><li>Ensure compliance with ethical AI practices, accessibility standards, and institutional values.</li><li>Promote AI capabilities across the institution; facilitate workshops, proofs-of-concept, and demos.</li><li>Provide consultative support to enterprise architects, application teams, and business leaders.</li><li>Mentor technical teams on AI patterns, frameworks, and best practices.</li><li>Enable multi-agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, RAG) and ensure agent interoperability across platforms</li><li>Ability to translate institutional goals into AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.</li><li>Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, data pipelines, integration, and governance.</li><li>Behavioral: Strong leadership, collaboration, and consultative skills with the ability to influence at all levels.</li><li>Personal: Technology-neutral mindset, intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and integrity. For a high volume of both onsite and virtual events, the ITS Media Services Event Coordinator works with a variety of business clients to coordinate the right systems and staffing for each event. The ITS Media Services Event Coordinator manages the SNHU event schedule and orchestrates resources to deliver seamless event support – often in high-profile situations. Public Safety Officers, provide comprehensive safety and security services to our traditional residential campus and remote properties and locations<strong>.</strong> Important to these services are active patrols of the university grounds/properties while in uniform on foot, bicycle, or a marked security vehicle. In this role, you will respond to a variety of calls for service, including escorts, motor vehicle assists, medical emergencies, and behavioral or mental health concerns. Additional responsibilities include managing traffic flow, enforcing parking regulations, and supporting special events such as athletic competitions and commencement ceremonies. Employees must reside in, and work from, one of the above approved states.</p><p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p><p>Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)<strong> </strong>is looking for a Workforce Partnership Lead who will help us build the university through the identification and establishment of new strategic partnerships with important workforce and corporate entities. You will report to the VP of Business Development and will lead business development, prospecting, and strategic planning. You will identify, pursue, negotiate, and build new partnerships that align with SNHU's goals and contribute to its long-term success in workforce education.</p> <p>This is a remote position "#LI-Remote" with 10% - 15% travel expectations. </p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>New Partnership Prospecting and Development: </strong>Evaluate prospective corporate and workforce partner opportunities aligned with SNHU's strategic goals. Build a pipeline of new partner prospects through proactive outreach, market research, and industry networking. Leverage CRM tools and data insights to prioritize and track pipeline activity.</li><li><strong>Enterprise Relationship Engagement: </strong>Cultivate and establish relationships with senior-level decision-makers and partners at prospective organizations. Build partnership credibility to facilitate initial engagement and lay the groundwork for long-term collaboration.</li><li><strong>Negotiation and Deal Structuring: </strong>Lead negotiations with prospective partners to secure favorable terms and initial partnership agreements. Structure partnership deals that are mutually beneficial and align with SNHU's interests and workforce education mission. Ensure agreement on financial targets and return on investment expectations</li><li><strong>Contract Management: </strong>Oversee the drafting, review, and execution of new partnership agreements and contracts. Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and agreement with internal procedures.</li><li><strong>Collaboration: </strong>Collaborate with our teams including sales, marketing, product development, operations, and legal to align new partnership plans with our goals. Coordinate efforts to support the onboarding and launch of new partnership programs.</li><li><strong>Market Analysis: </strong>Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to workforce education partnerships. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and potential new partnership prospects.</li><li><strong>Risk Management: </strong>Identify potential risks and challenges associated with new partnership plans. Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure the successful launch of new partnership programs.</li><li><strong>Partnership Transition:</strong> Collaborate with Account Management and Partnership Operations. This collaboration ensures a seamless transition from a closed contract into an active account, facilitating a smooth handoff. The goal is to set new partners up for long-term success.</li><li><strong>External Representation and Employer Engagement: </strong>Represent SNHU at external conferences, industry events, and forums to raise brand visibility and foster new relationships with employer partners across corporate and government sectors.</li><li><strong>Event Strategy and Sponsorships: </strong>Identify and recommend events and sponsorship opportunities for SNHU to participate in to build brand presence and expand the workforce partnership pipeline across target markets.</li><li><strong>Travel: </strong>Ability to travel up to 10% - 15% upon request.</li><li><em>Other responsibilities as assigned. </em></li></ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p> <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree.</li><li>8+ years of experience in new business development focusing on generating new revenue including developing strategies, finding prospects, pitching and closing deals.</li><li>Experience with corporate partnership development, or related roles.</li><li>Experience in contract negotiation and deal structuring.</li><li>Experience in market data analysis, trends, data literacy, and business case development.</li><li>Experience managing and reporting on pipeline performance metrics.</li></ul> <p>We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
