Manchester, NH

For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is looking for a Conferral Coordinator within the Office of The University Registrar. This is a hybrid position, and requires the ability to work one to two days per week on campus in Manchester, NH. You will report to the Sr. Assistant Registrar. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the Conferral Team, which is responsible for assessing student records for conferral. You will focus on the maintenance of program evaluations and accurate audit and conferral of our student programs while maintaining the integrity of university policies.

In this Role You'll Get To:

  • Conduct initial audits on academic records for students who are close to program completion
  • Provide customer service while serving on the "front lines" of the main Registrar telephone line as a periodic "Go to Person" (G2P) and when working on campus with our students, faculty, and staff
  • Manage assigned commencement responsibilities
  • Be a resource for our team members
  • Record and update the students' remaining program requirements
  • Provide data entry support to the team by processing updates from reports and university management systems
  • Process diploma name and address changes and other conferral related requests
  • Adjust program evaluations to ensure accuracy of progress toward completion of program requirements
  • Provide updates to staff and students on progress toward completion of program requirement
  • Manage diplomas returned to campus and process requests for replacement diplomas
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Job responsibilities can change at any time

What we're looking for:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university, or 3+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.45 - $27.92. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $19.28 - $26.08.
