The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Institutional Advancement. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in technology, project coordination, data analysis, community engagement, and higher education operations. The Graduate Assistant will work with staff across Institutional Advancement and gain exposure to system implementations, business process improvement, event operations, and constituent engagement strategies.
Technology & Innovation Support
- Support technology initiatives across Institutional Advancement.
- Assist with system discovery, testing, documentation, and process improvement efforts.
- Research technology solutions and industry best practices.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Provide basic support for technology needs related to IA programs and events.
Data & Analytics
- Analyze spreadsheets and data collection processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
- Support Chandler Center and Community Engagement data tracking efforts.
- Recommend improvements to existing manual processes.
General Program Support
- Support planning and execution of community engagement programs.
- Assist with volunteer and service initiatives.
- Support logistics for programs such as:
- Back-to-School Supply Drive
- Take Five
- Gifting Tree
- Community service initiatives
- Amiko youth program
- Homecoming
- Global Days of Service
- Provide operational support for major Institutional Advancement events.
- Assist with event technology setup and troubleshooting.
- Support registration, logistics, training materials, and event preparation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Graduate program at SNHU
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
