Manchester, NHThe opportunity
The School of Arts, Sciences, and Education's (SASE) at Southern New Hampshire University is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach on-site for our Education program. This teaching opportunity will begin Fall, 2026 on our Manchester, NH campus. Courses will be offered during the day and early evening on weekdays. You will report to the Associate Dean for SASE.
The following course is available to teach:
DEV 260 Culturally Responsive Citizen (3:30 pm-4:45pm on Mondays and Thursdays)
What you'll do:
- Deliver in-person instruction aligned with course goals and SNHU standards.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate with students and support their academic success.
- Collaborate with department staff to ensure course continuity and quality.
- Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course
What we're looking for:
- Master's degree in education, teaching or early childhood education.
- Experience as a classroom instructor, school counselor or para-professional at the K-12 level preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
The compensation range listed below is our pay for our standard adjunct positions. Due to the nature of this particular role the pay will be $500 per student.

Compensation
The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
