The opportunity

The Senior Director of SIS Platform and Development will report to the Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Digital Plaforms. You will be leader within the Business Technology Solution group, responsible for Student Information System (SIS) and the development of supporting scripts, tools and reports. You will ensure system performance, technical operation, code-based solutions, and resolution for issues within the Student Information System (SIS), based on the Ellucian Banner platform. You will manage and cultivate relationships across university partners including the Student Experience, Academics, Registrar, AR, and Financial Aid teams, working with these colleagues to understand our needs and opportunities.

While supporting a team of development and platform professionals, the Senior Director of SIS Platform and Development collaborates on strategic pathways for the university's Student Information System. This includes driving conversations about the benefits, risks, and impacts of multiple delivery models, products, AI-based technologies, and architectures. This position is expected to be a thought partner in broader discussions concerning strategy and vision, particularly regarding the SIS as part of a larger ecosystem and must be able to influence the decisions of senior leaders through effective communication, grounded reasoning, and data-driven business cases.

You will be responsible for oversight and collaborative maintenance of important SIS-related technologies and integration elements such as Ethos and SIS APIs. The Senior Director of SIS Platform and Development works to ensure efficiency and cross-system solutioning given the role of the SIS as a "data engine" within the SNHU technical ecosystem. Operationally, you will work with other platform operations teams and the Director, SIS Operations and Data Services to facilitate consistency, solutioning, operating level agreements, and impact analysis.

You can work 100% remotely from any of our approved states. #LI-Remote
