Job Summary
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Student Support Staff for our partner organization College Together. The 2 main duties of this position are administrative aide and student support. Administrative duties mainly involve clerical support, while student work focuses on planning/supporting student events and student assignments if coaches are unavailable.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the learning space, ensuring things are well-maintained, and materials remain stocked
  • Staying late to keep the lounge open Monday/ Friday for late-arrival students
  • Supporting in events/open house,
  • Supporting other students when needed
  • General clerical duties for the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Be actively enrolled with SNHU through CT and maintain satisfactory SAP standing
  • Must apply and be recommended by a staff member.
  • Must have a proven track record of academic success and routinely uphold the 3 core metrics of a CT student ( Attendance, 1:1 meeting, and submission deadlines).

Learning Outcomes (NACE Competencies)

Students will learn to develop their critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. Through having to plan, maintain, and assist in hosting events, as well as be a supportive face to the fellow students, the student position will push students to show results and manage their own academic development.

Work Schedule

Mon-Fri (During business hours, 9- 6 time slots available, not to exceed 20 in a week)

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
